We’re seeing a perfect storm in America. Two things are happening at the same time, but should not be. Evil is advancing godlessness while churches have been silent or fearfully retreating. A demonic, chaotic culture has collided with a comfortable Church.
Something had to give. Now, since the assassination of Christian martyr, Charlie Kirk, we see more clearly than ever two kingdoms colliding.
In this clash of worldviews, one worldview justifies chaos and destruction in the name of “democracy” and oppression. The other proclaims true freedom found only in Christ.
The Bible teaches that Jesus Christ is Lord, and His Truth endures forever.
On the other hand, you may have heard the expression that the further a society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it. Welcome to America 2025.
We can ignore the fact things are getting darker as wickedness or lawlessness spread, or we can understand the times and pray about what we can do. Romans 12:21 states: “ _Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good._ “
Though the church is in an intensifying battle of good vs. evil and truth vs. lies, too many professing Christians seem to have a cruise ship mentality rather than being battle ready. Being comfortable may be one of the worst things for a Christian.
What will it take for more professing believers in Christ to get equipped and prepared?
Charlie Kirk understood the battle we’re in from both a physical and eternal perspective. He would often send Scripture out to encourage those in his inner circle and became bolder in his faith during the last several years of his life.
