WAR BEGINS, NATO CONDUCTS DEFENDER EUROPE AND RUSSIA STACKS MILITARY VEHICLES ON UKRAINE BORDER
The Ukraine conflict this week, in which the U.S. Armed Forces, NATO allies, and military partners conducted large-scale “Defender Europe" exercises. Meanwhile, Russia has also deployed large amount of its military hardware to the Ukrainian border. This correlation will raise the threat level in crisis-potential Europe to the highest potential level.
Defender Europe, is the main maneuver that the U.S. armed forces have held every year since 2020 along with their European allies aimed at preparing the Western alliance for a possible military conflict with Russia. The exercise is considered the largest in Europe, since the end of the Cold War. On the other hand, Russia warned NATO, not to send troops to help Ukraine. After the U.S. Europe Command (EUCOM) raised its threat level in Europe, Russia deployed a large amount of military hardware moving through Crimea to the Ukrainian border.
