SHANGHAI AND BEIJING FURTHER RELAX CURBS AS COVID-19 INFECTIONS WANE
China's two major cities, Beijing and Shanghai, have relaxed more COVID-19 curbs as infections continue to subside. New cases have gone down to single digits, with Beijing and Shanghai reporting five and four community cases respectively. Restaurants in some areas have restarted dine-in services, after more than a month of serving takeaways only. City officials aim to return to normalcy by end-June.
