CHINA SHOCKED (MAY 11, 2020): US MILITARY DEPLOY TOMAHAWK MISSILES TO TARGET CHINA WARSHIPS
The US military is deploying a number of new weapons and the latest strategies to overcome the superiority of Chinese missiles in the Pacific region.
The administration of US President Donald Trump plans to install long-range missiles launched from the ground in the Asia Pacific region.
The Pentagon will deploy a new type of Tomahawk missile to strengthen its marine forces and warships.
This plan was also discussed at a Congress meeting in March 2020, which involved senior US military commanders.
Problem is, the Chinese government asks Washington to be careful in words and actions. "And stop moving chess pieces in this region," the Chinese government told Reuters. "Stop tightening military muscles around China."
The Chinese military or the Chinese People's Liberation Army has built a very large number of missile forces, and can defeat the reach of US and allied countries' military missiles.
The US also changed tactics by combining marine forces with the navy to attack enemy warships.
The US military set up a small, fast-moving marine unit equipped with precision anti-ship missiles, tasked with destroying enemy warships.
This will be applied around a series of islands around Japan, Taiwan, the Philippines and Borneo to the coastal areas of China. "The Tomahawk missile is one of our tools to achieve this goal," said General David Berger of the American Marine Corps.
